#THE DAY YOU WENT AWAY DADDY FOR FREE#
well I'll live here for free What more could anybody need Sounds pretty sweet don't you agree? My mom and dad they criticize It's time they opened up their eyes I see beyond all of their lies And yell fuck you while mama cries They say it's time that I move out But that's not happening no doubt I'm staying here till forced to leave And that's just how it is you see They're angry I dropped out of school They say I'm dumb but they're the fools I'm 18 and I make the rules And no one's calling me a fool I'll have my way and I'll live rent free No no-one's getting rid of me Don't give a damn that's plain to see My parents will take care of me I'm sick and tired of being told By people who are growing old What I should do how I should act It's time they all cut me some slack I take it easy cause I can It should be clear to understand. I title my poem "Teenage Thoughts" and it is about the way many kids seem to act and think this day in age.
